The tunnels are now a historical structure of Vietnam and are considered a heroic district for the role they played in the resistance to US forces during the Vietnam War.
- Mekong Delta: The Mekong Delta, also known as the Nine Dragon River Delta, as it is formed by nine rivers, lies immediately to the west of Ho Chi Minh City, with many rivers, islands, and canals. People here grow lots of food, like rice and fruit. You can see markets on boats where people sell things. It's important for nature and for people's way of life, with many traditions and ways of doing things.

Travel Itinerary
- DAY 1: ARRIVAL HO CHI MINH, VIETNAM (NO MEAL)
Today you’ll land in Tan Son Nhat Airport. The driver at the airport then transfers to the hotel for check-in. Check-in time is 14.00 (early check-in is not included). Noon, relax in the Hotel/free time, explore Ho Chi Minh city by yourself.
Overnight stay in Ho Chi Minh.

- DAY 2: CU CHI TUNNELS + HO CHI MINH CITY (B/L)
Have breakfast at the Hotel.
8.30: Pick you up at the hotel and depart for Cu Chi Tunnels. Cu Chi is now considered a heroic district for its role in the anti–American war resistance during the Vietnam War. It is legendary for its
over 220 km underground tunnel system, and it is a popular tourist site for both Vietnamese and foreigners.
Along the way to Cu Chi from Ho Chi Minh City, we will pass by the scenic local countryside, where you might even spot ducks and buffalo cooling off in the river. You will find it hard to imagine the destruction and damage that once dominated the area, caused by bombing and mines when Cu Chi was “a free target zone.”
After the tunnels, we’ll stop for a lunch of local Vietnamese cuisine before heading back to Ho Chi Minh. Here, we’ll visit the Reunification Palace, which was the former residence of the President of South Vietnam until the end of the war in April 1975, the Notre Dame Cathedral, the General Post Office, and the War Remnants Museum.
17.30: The tour finishes. Get dropped off at the hotel.

- DAY 3: MEKONG DELTA TOUR (B/L)
Have breakfast at the Hotel.
7.30: Pick you up at the hotel and depart for the Mekong Delta. Enjoy the scenery and green rice paddies during the one and a half hour bus ride. Along the way, we will visit Vinh Trang Pagoda, the biggest pagoda in the Mekong Delta. Continue to My Tho, where we take a boat trip along the Mekong River, where you can see fish cages and floating houses on the river.
The boat takes you to a small canal, escaping the hustle and bustle of the town. We disembark at a coconut island in Ben Tre and enjoy a walk around the village. Stop at a local family home to enjoy tropical fruit, taste the honey tea and honey wine, and listen to Vietnamese traditional music performed by the villagers. Check out the coconut candy shop and learn how to make candy, and see handicrafts made from the coconuts.
Take your time snapping photos and enjoy the natural scenery before we head to the local restaurant. Lunch is set with special Vietnamese food. Enjoy your lunch outside under the shade of the trees. After lunch, enjoy your time relaxing, walking around the village, or perhaps going for a short bike ride.
17.00: Back to Ho Chi Minh City and the end of the tour.

09:00: Arrival at Vung Tau and leisure time at Thuy Van beach (Back beach) - one of the nicest beaches in Vietnam, with the shore running for almost 10km, full of fine sands and white waves. Authentic Vietnamese lunch is served at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon: Visit the Jesus Christ Statue, Thang Tam Temple (Whale Temple), Bach Dinh (a.k.a. Villa Blanche in French or White Palace in English), Cape Nghinh Phong. Taking a short break.
18.00: Back to Ho Chi Minh City and the end trip.
